Soapstone Carvings at Tango Zulu

We have some lovely new soapstone (also called kisii stone) carvings at Tango Zulu. Our soapstone carvings are all fair trade products from Kenya.  Soapstone gets its name from its soft, silk-smooth texture and lends itself to being carved or painted. Some of our soapstone carvings feature the natural creams, pinks, and gray-blue hues of the stone, while others have been stained or painted. All of them are uniquely beautiful.
